Prototype Knife With Leather Sheath
This was a prototype knife for a new design we are working on.
The leather sheath was also practice for our apprentice and is included for free. The sheath fits a bit on the loose side, and does not come with a retention strap. Do NOT carry it inverted without a retention strap. Its a modular design allowing it to be carried vertically or horizontally, or the straps removed completely. Future models will have a retention strap added and be a tighter fit.
The screws included with the sheath should be replaced. They are a bit on the short side, and I think it would benefit with longer screws. You can pick them up for under a dollar from places like holstersmith.com, knifekits.com, ebay, etc. Just measure the thickness of the leather to figure out the length you need.
The sheath has been included for free, and the price has been reduced. The final versions of this model with a leather sheath will retail for closer to $150
I forgot to measure this specific model prior to shipping but its on the large side. The handle area is about 5" long, width is a tad under 2" wide. So you can guesstimate the length based on that.
